Terms and Conditions
FerretDen — Last updated 31 July 2026
1. Who you're contracting with
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Eyad Mostafa, an individual sole proprietor based in 6th of October City, Giza Governorate, Egypt, trading as "FerretDen" ("FerretDen," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of the website at ferretden.com and app.ferretden.com and the FerretDen service (together, the "Service").
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy andRefund Policy, both incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. What the Service does — and does not do
FerretDen discovers job and academic opportunities from sources you configure (public job boards, RSS feeds, and Telegram channels), scores them against your profile, and helps you prepare tailored application materials, including AI-drafted cover letters and CV content.
FerretDen never submits an application on your behalf. Where a browser extension or similar tool is offered, it fills in forms and attaches documents inside your own, already-authenticated browser session — you always review the result and click the destination site's own submit button yourself. FerretDen is an assistive co-pilot, not an autonomous applicant, and this will not change.
Content drafted by AI (cover letters, CV language, and similar) is a starting point for you to review, edit, and approve before use. FerretDen does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular application, and you are responsible for what you ultimately submit.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- engage in any unlawful activity, or violate the rights of any third party;
- send spam, fraudulent communications, or attempt to defraud FerretDen or other users;
- infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property right;
- probe, scan, scrape, or attempt to interfere with the Service's security, availability, or normal operation, including through malware, denial-of-service activity, or automated access that circumvents rate limits or access controls; or
- reverse-engineer, resell, or use the Service to build a competing product.
We may investigate and take appropriate action — including suspending or terminating access — against anyone who violates this section.
6. Intellectual property
FerretDen and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, design, documentation, and branding. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as intended. You retain ownership of the content you upload (your CV, work history, and similar profile data) and grant us a license to process it solely to provide the Service to you.
7. Service availability
We work to keep the Service reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.
8. Payment and subscriptions
Paid plans are billed through Paddle.com, who acts as theMerchant of Record for all purchases made through the Service. This means Paddle is the authorized reseller of FerretDen and is responsible for processing your payment, handling applicable sales tax/VAT, and providing invoices. Payment terms, cancellation, renewal, and billing-frequency mechanics are governed byPaddle's Buyer Terms, which apply to every purchase in addition to these Terms.
Some plans let you supply your own third-party AI provider API key ("Bring Your Own Key" / BYOK) instead of using our platform-provided key. Under BYOK, requests made using your key are billed to you directly by that provider under that provider's own terms; FerretDen is not a party to that billing relationship.
9. Refunds
See our Refund Policy for how and when refunds are available. Refund requests are handled through Paddle at paddle.net.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, if:
- you materially breach these Terms;
- a payment is not received or is reversed;
- we reasonably believe your account presents a security or fraud risk; or
- you repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use policy (Section 5).
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, FerretDen's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service — however arising, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100). This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law, and nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited (for example, liability for fraud or, where applicable, death or personal injury caused by negligence).
12. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and FerretDen regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or an in-product notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law in your own country of residence requires otherwise.
